House Rules and Terms

The House Rules and Terms are designed to build a vibrant and supportive community by promoting accountability and personal responsibility through peer support, along with clear guidelines and a structured approach to foster a positive culture.

These House Rules and Terms ("House Rules and Terms") govern your use of Core Co-Living and constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Core Co-Living ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our services, you agree to be bound by these House Rules and Terms.

Core Co-Living provides structured enrichment transitional housing and co-living environments for individuals committed to maintaining sobriety. Our services include:

• Drug and alcohol-free residential transitional housing
• Peer support and accountability programs
• Life skills training and job placement assistance
• Structured living environment with house rules
• Regular drug and alcohol testing

To be eligible for our services, residents must:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Demonstrate commitment to sobriety
• Complete application and interview process
• Pass a background check and drug screening
• Provide references from treatment providers or sponsors
• Agree to follow all house rules and policies

All residents are required to follow the house rules and policies to ensure a safe and supportive environment.

Zero Tolerance Policy

• No use of drugs or alcohol on premises or off-site
• No bringing drugs, alcohol, or paraphernalia onto the property
• No violent or threatening behavior
• No theft or destruction of property
• No sharing of medication with other residents
• No storage of unprescribed medication allowed

Daily Requirements

• Participate in assigned chores
• Attend mandatory house meetings
• Respect curfew times
• Submit to random drug/alcohol testing

Community Standards

• Treat all residents and staff with respect
• Maintain clean and hygienic living spaces
• Follow quiet hours (typically 8:00 PM - 11:00 AM, subject to change) to respect all residents including those working third and overnight shifts
• Respect common areas and personal property
• Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness

Flexible Payment Options: We work with residents to create affordable payment plans based on individual circumstances.

• Rent is due on the 1st of each month
• Security deposit required upon admission
• Late fees may apply after a 5-day grace period
• Payment plans available for qualifying residents
• Scholarship opportunities may be available

Residency may be terminated under the following circumstances:

Immediate Termination

• Use of drugs or alcohol
• Violence or threats toward others
• Bringing prohibited substances onto the property
• Criminal activity

Progressive Discipline

• Repeated house rule violations
• Failure to participate in required activities
• Non-payment of fees
• Disruptive behavior affecting the community

We are committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining the confidentiality of your personal information in accordance with applicable laws, including HIPAA, where appropriate.

Core Co-Living provides supportive housing services and is not a medical treatment facility. We do not provide clinical treatment, therapy, or medical services. Residents are responsible for their own healthcare and treatment needs. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

We encourage open communication to resolve any concerns. Our dispute resolution process includes:

• Direct discussion with the house manager
• Formal grievance process
• Mediation if necessary
• Legal arbitration as a final resort

We reserve the right to modify these House Rules and Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified House Rules and Terms. We will notify residents of significant changes through posted notices and house meetings.
